Droplets For Life was established in 2008 as a sustainable innovative waste management business, mainly concentrating on recycling aspects of waste management.
Officially registered in 2015, a company that provides tailor made solutions to the waste industry. Providing reliable & robust Transportation, Disposal, Collection, Handling and Recycling to the Retail, Industrial & Commercial sector.

Accreditations
Droplets for Life have various accreditations complying with the waste management by-laws:
- Registered with the Gauteng Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
- Our Recycling Facility is also registered with Department of Agriculture
- Compensation for Occupational injuries & diseases – Letter of Good Standing
- Registered with the Institute of Waste Management
- Our B-BBEE Level 1 Status
- Qualified NOSA Auditors & Risk Assessment members
- Drivers are all Haz-chem trained for transportation of waste & recyclables
How we give back
Empowering Communities Through Employment and Skills Development
We empower the local community by employing people who own their own bakkies / Trucks that can collect all of Droplets recycling from their clients.
We provide skills development, motivation & permanent employment to these self-entrepreneurs. Most of our drivers are from disadvantage areas in around Gauteng.
Social Contributions
- We donate bottle water to charitable organisations & foundations.
- Schools Recycling Program – We collect & recycle all sorts of schoolbooks and papers. We do not charge any of the schools for collections that have taken place. After all recycling has been sorted and generated a revenue, Droplets provides the school with donations valued to the recycling collected.
- We donate bread tags & plastic bottle caps to The Tops & Tags Foundation. Who in turn generate a revenue which allows them to purchase & donate wheelchairs for the needy (Project is part of the South African wheel chair drive).
